In this end-of-summer special, Head of ESG, Snigdha Jain, sits down with SEGRO’s Sustainability Director, Gabriella Zepf, to unpack how the ‘Responsible SEGRO’ framework turns ambition into action – building on a 100 year ESG legacy and helping to chart the next century of success, delivering societal and environmental good. In conversation with UKGBC - exploring the new guidance on renewable energy procurement

In this one-off episode, recorded to coincide with the launch of UKGBC’s new guidance on renewable energy procurement, Head of ESG, Snigdha Jain is joined by Tom Wigg, Senior Advisor for Net Zero Carbon Buildings at UKGBC. Snigdha and Tom delve into the updated guidance, discuss the pivotal role of procurement in delivering net zero, explore the three principles of the guidance and analyse how it will impact the built environment sector. 

Decarbonising the electricity system is a top priority for achieving Net Zero and we’re proud to have played a role in shaping this guidance. Head of Sustainability and ESG, James Blake collaborated with a team of cross-industry experts as part of the Task Group supporting its development.
