Delivery of Phase 1 of the comprehensive mixed-use regeneration of Milford Waterfront
Our role
- Continuing our trusted advisor role to the Port on the delivery of this complex regeneration project following approval of the outline planning application in November 2019.
- Led the project team in negotiating the Reserved Matters approval for the hotel.
- Our Planning and Heritage & Townscape teams provided advice which was key to developing an acceptable design response in an area of significant heritage context. Strategic advice was needed to ensure the timely delivery of the first phase of the wider regeneration project.
Results
- This project is the first step in the regeneration of Milford Dock.
- The development will provide new hotel facilities, in a five-storey, 100-bed scheme.
- New jobs will also be created for the local community, providing spin-off economic benefits for the local area.
