Turley strengthen their West Midlands offer

Leading Independent planning consultancy Turley is strengthening its presence in Birmingham with the appointment of two new team members, Matthew Fox and Neal Allcock. This recruitment continues a growth period in their senior ranks, following the appointment of Jo Russell as Director last year.

With over 16 years’ experience in town planning consultancy, Matthew joins as a Director in the Planning team. Matthew previously worked for RPS where he gained extensive experience of complex applications and appeals across high profile sites. He has particular expertise in the residential, commercial and defence sectors.

Neal joins the Planning team from WYG. As an Associate Director, he brings with him over 12 years of experience and varied knowledge of projects across the residential, retail, commercial and industrial sectors.

Jo joined from Barton Willmore as a Director in our planning service. She is working on a number of exciting projects, in the Midlands and beyond, for clients including Stoford, St Modwen and St Modwen Homes.

Turley’s Birmingham team has welcomed seven new starters over the past 12 months. The latest, Ian Deverell, started as an Assistant Planner this week.

Speaking about the appointments, Mat Jones, Birmingham Office Director, said:

“Matthew and Neal join us at an exciting time. Not only are we delighted to be expanding and welcoming new faces, we’re continuing to recruit. In addition to this, we’re currently refurbishing our office and looking forward to the new layout and facilities which will enhance our working practices and promote flexibility.”
