Turley launches B&B HOTELS’ UK expansion

Acting on behalf of B&B HOTELS, we co-ordinated the launch of its global brand into the UK market to help it realise their expansion ambition of 100 hotels in the UK by 2035.

Our Strategic Communications team is providing Corporate Affairs and PR services to B&B HOTELS, a leading European value-for-money hotel chain, as it launches into the UK market. Since its establishment in 1990, B&B HOTELS has grown to more than 650 hotels across 14 European countries, and played a decisive role in developing the budget hotel industry in Europe. 

B&B HOTELS is well known across Europe for its differentiated high-quality offer with a strong value proposition and mantra of ‘only for everyone’. B&B HOTELS’ approach has helped secure its position as a top budget hotel operator across several European countries including number one in Italy, number two in Germany and Spain, and number three in France.

We co-ordinated B&B HOTELS’ official launch into the UK market, which was announced on Tuesday, 4 October at the Annual Hotel Conference (AHC) in Manchester. We secured coverage of the announcement across targeted, high profile media outlets including Property Week, Insider Media and The Caterer. 

B&B HOTELS’ has ambitions to open 100 new hotels by 2035. Backed by capital from owners Goldman Sachs, B&B HOTELS’ growth strategy will include a combination of leasing new hotels with development partners, takeovers and conversions. The UK team is expected to grow significantly as the brand commences investment and delivery into the UK market. B&B HOTELS is looking to partner with existing hotel owners, developers, landowners, funds and real estate owners to deliver on its expansion ambitions.

Announcing its expansion plans, Max C. Luscher, B&B HOTELS’ CEO of Central and Northern Europe said:
