Turley celebrates EO Day 2021 with a virtual co-owner festival – CoFest

Together, Even If We’re Apart

EO Day is a national celebration of employee ownership on June 25 2021, with the EO Day theme #BetterTogether.  This year we are celebrating EO Day virtually, with the option for smaller groups within our 14 locations to catch up socially in-person in a COVID-secure way.

CoFest is a celebration of being together and supporting each other even if we are physically apart.  Working together virtually hasn’t been a barrier for us being #BetterTogether in business.

Our virtual co-owner festival focuses on wellbeing and mental health, co-owner connections, reflections over the past 12-18 months and our future together.

Charity challenge

As part of our charitable work, a team from Turley undertakes an annual visit to either Sierra Leone or the Dominican Republic to help work on long term projects, building a new settlement in Sierra Leone and to provide new housing and classrooms in Dominican Republic.

Due to the current pandemic, we are unable to travel to either location to assist the charities. As part of CoFest, we have therefore set ourselves a challenge of a virtual trip for all co-owners, around all Turley offices and back home, but dropping in on Sierra Leone and the Dominican Republic on the way! This is a 25,000km challenge. We are aiming to raise £10,000 for our chosen charities.
