Turley announces senior promotions across key service areas

We have announced a series of senior promotions across our teams strengthening our leadership in Economics, Design, Sustainability & ESG, Strategic Communications and Planning.

The promotions bolster our commitment to shaping sustainable futures and strengthen our offer across our net zero infrastructure, sustainability & ESG and placemaking strategic priorities.

Antony Pollard has been promoted to Senior Director, alongside his current role as Head of Economics. This recognises his role in supporting our clients to make the economic case for housing across the UK, including several prominent large scale new settlements and urban extensions. Antony will continue to work alongside industry leaders to advocate for planning reform to assist clients to contribute towards supporting the Government’s economic growth mission and the delivery of 1.5 million homes to address the ongoing housing crisis.

Fiona Lomas-Holt steps into the role of Director, Head of Sustainability & ESG. Fiona leads our fast-growing offer in sustainability & ESG strategy for clients at a corporate, development and asset level across a wide range of sectors including commercial and residential real estate. Her promotion reflects our ambition in climate-conscious development that ensures people, places and the planet can thrive.

Jeff Nottage has been appointed Director and Head of Design, bringing over 25 years of urban design and masterplanning experience. He will guide our design practice, overseeing some of the UK and Ireland’s most complex strategic masterplanning and regeneration projects. Jeff takes on the role from Stephen Taylor who will continue to focus on large scale projects and our placemaking offer.

Emily Bell, promoted to Director for Strategic Communications, will lead on our net zero infrastructure strategic communications agenda. With expertise in strategic campaigns and social value creation for net zero development, Emily has spearheaded engagement strategies on many high-profile projects. Based in Bristol, she plays a key role in enhancing our reputation as a creative place focussed communication agency.

Nia Russell, promoted to Director in the South West & Wales region, brings 20 years of experience advising public and private sector clients on complex planning schemes. Based in Cardiff, Nia is a trusted advisor to major retail, logistics, net zero infrastructure and residential clients, and will continue to grow our regional offer with a particular focus on commercial development and renewable energy.

A hotbed of emerging talent

The latest promotions also include a broader cohort of future leaders:

  • Elise Power, Karen Barnes and Joanna Meakin have been promoted to Associate Director roles across planning and EIA.
  • Mared Jones and Ryan Simpson step into senior consultancy roles.
  • Nick Edwards and Jordan Bishop have been promoted to Planner and Echo Wu to Consultant for Sustainability & ESG.
  • Daniel Orzel and Kalon Mitchell take up new positions in our central services.
