Turley is proud to sponsor this year’s Young Planners' Conference in the East Midlands

We are delighted to be sponsoring the Young Planners' Conference in the East Midlands which takes place in Nottingham on 2 and 3 November 2018. The Midlands Engine is becoming an increasingly important part of the UK’s economic growth strategy, and we believe this year’s conference is well located within one of the fastest growing regions.

We have a 25 strong team of Turley young planners attending this year’s conference. Speaking about the conference Camilla Duckworth, Senior Planner, said:

“The Young Planner’s conference is a great way to visit different RTPI regions, gaining an understanding of what is prevalent to them and the planning and development sector each year. It  also provides a great opportunity to network with other like-minded young planners from across the UK.

The theme for this year’s conference is ‘Celebrating Planning for the Greater Good’, which links  with our Turley ethos of ‘Shaping Better Places’. Shaping Better Places is an integral part of our everyday thinking at Turley, and I am hoping that this year’s conference provides me with the opportunity to reflect on this ethos and gain other perspectives on how planning for the greater good is taking shape within the East Midlands. ”

Kat Young, Associate Director, will be speaking on the reflection panel discussing ‘What does good planning mean to you?’ on Saturday 3 November. We will also have an exhibition stand  at the conference where delegates can find out about the diverse projects we work on in the growing East Midlands market.

We have been working within the East Midlands for over 15 years. During this time our regional expertise and knowledge has grown and we have had the pleasure to work on a range of high profile projects including:
