About the role
We are seeking a skilled Data Analyst to join our team. This role will focus on developing and managing our reporting functionality, utilising tools such as Power BI. You will also be responsible for handling various data feeds and general business intelligence tasks. You will have the opportunity to guide and shape a developing function within Turley, identifying opportunities to add value to the business and influence decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop Power BI dashboards for the business to optimise its performance.
- Oversee and manage data feeds into our BI tools, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Work with our Data & Digital Team to understand the data analysis needs of the wider business.
- Ability to turn data into clear, actionable insights.
- Regularly review and optimise data processes and reporting methodologies.
- Performing data profiling, cleansing, and transformation activities.
- Creating scalable and efficient data models for reporting purposes.
- Evaluating and visualising data using technologies such as data mining, data exploration, Power BI, QlikSense, and Tableau, to generate insights that address business stakeholders’ questions.
- Managing end-to-end analytical projects: from understanding business needs to effectively communicating analysis results through data storytelling.
About You
- The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data analytics, report creation; and a keen eye for detail is a must.
- Proficiency in Power BI, including data modelling, report building, and DAX is essential as well as a strong understanding of data management and data feed integration (SQL Server & SSIS).
- You will have strong problem-solving skills and the ability to translate complex data into understandable reports and insights.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written are a must.
- You will be an energetic, self-motivated person who enjoys working with a variety of stakeholders and as part of a team.
- Curiosity and willingness to explore emerging technologies in the Data & AI space (e.g., Generative AI, machine learning, MLOps).

This role is mainly remote with occasional travel to one of our offices to meet with the team. During the induction period, office attendance will be required but we are flexible on which office location this will be.
