Gender mainstreaming

We aim to support the creation of thriving, inclusive spaces through meaningful engagement at every stage to help women, girls and other vulnerable groups reach their potential.

How does our industry achieve this? Some of the key areas we need to consider are: 1) Influencing policies and programmes by lobbying for positive policy change at national and local levels. 2) Developing tools to support a gender mainstreaming approach, from co-creation and consultation to audits. 3) Sharing knowledge with collaborators and industry colleagues. 4) Insight-led design through meaningful engagement with all groups and user-led 'co-design'. 5) Championing the progression of women into more senior roles within the industry to ensure the issues faced by women and girls are understood at the highest levels of decision making.
