We are looking for an enthusiastic Team Secretary to join our planning consultancy team in the South East. The role is based in our Southampton office and the role will involve working closely with our Office Manager, South East, who is based in Reading.
You will work alongside another Team Secretary to support a diverse team at various levels of seniority and you can expect variety; no two days are the same.
The role involves providing a professional, efficient and reliable support service primarily to the Southampton office and support as required across the South East including:
- dealing with client enquiries/taking messages/servicing meetings
- document preparation and production
- record keeping and electronic file management
- invoice process management
- event organisation and diary management, including travel and meeting arrangements
- broad range of general administration duties
The ideal candidate will be flexible with a ‘can do’ attitude and be always two steps ahead. You will have experience in a similar role, ideally in a professional services environment. Your administrative skills should be at a high level and cover a wide range of experiences, as quick decision making and efficiency of working is required in order to be able to meet key deadlines, often at short notice.
You should demonstrate an ability to work proactively and in teams; strong communication skills, an attention to detail and an ability to manage your own workload and prioritise tasks. A good working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages is essential.
Turley is an employee-owned business, operating from thirteen offices. We offer an excellent remuneration and flexible benefits package including pension, ownership dividend and performance-related bonus.
Consideration will be given to full and part time working with flexibility on core hours per day, days / hours to be worked (e.g. around school hours) and a job share arrangement would be considered with our current Team Secretary.
If you think that Turley could be the right move for you, please follow the Apply Now link or email firstname.lastname@example.org, providing your CV, a covering letter and details of your current salary.
