HR Assistant (Apprentice)

Turley has an opportunity for an enthusiastic HR Assistant to join its busy HR team at the city centre office in Manchester. This role will involve providing an efficient and reliable administration and support service to the HR team and the wider company of circa 260 co-owners across the company’s 13 UK offices.
You will have a basic appreciation of HR issues, however previous HR experience is not essential. More importantly, you will have a genuine desire to learn, and a commitment to your own development. As such, Turley will support you in working towards the HR Support Level 3 apprenticeship, accredited by the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development.
The HR Assistant will take ownership of administration associated with the new starter process, from recruitment through to offer paperwork and pre-employment checks. You will be responsible for ensuring the HR database is maintained and records are kept up to date in line with GDPR. You will also provide support to the HR team and co-owners, responding to routine HR queries, drafting confidential correspondence and carrying out a broad range of HR related administrative tasks.
You will be able to demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills and be able to handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism and discretion. The ability to meet deadlines and deliver a consistently high-quality service is essential.
