Director, Strategic Communications
We are looking for an experienced and motivated Strategic Communications professional to shape our ongoing success in Belfast, Northern Ireland, and to lead our established team.

This is an exciting opportunity to progress your career within a vibrant and forward-thinking consultancy and work alongside clients as trusted independent advisors. We are looking for a Director level public affairs / corporate affair / social value and/or stakeholder engagement specialist to set and lead our Belfast and Northern Ireland regional strategy, as well as the opportunity to support our growing offer in Derry~Londonderry and Dublin. You will be experienced in securing new business, and adept at delivering political, community and media engagement, to achieve successful planning outcomes for our clients.
The role
From our Belfast office you will join and help to continue the development of our established Strategic Communications team across the UK and Ireland. Working with high profile clients, you will be able to grow the team’s position in the market within the context of one of the most respected brands in planning, place, and infrastructure, adding your skills and experience to our unique offer of planning communications, insight-led communications, and corporate affairs.
You will be winning your own work as well as working with the wider Strategic Communications team and the full range of Turley services to sell and deliver an offer which matches the market need. Examples of recent projects includes the Loft Lines, Titanic Quarter, City Quays 4, 5 and Gardens, major residential schemes.
About you
We are seeking candidates with private sector experience, accomplished in business development and in promoting major property development and regeneration projects, as well as experience in engaging with clients, consultants and other stakeholders within the Northern Ireland development market. If you have a track record of professional engagement on complex and controversial issues and have a passion for local politics, placemaking and property development, we want to hear from you.
